For Kim Chiu, April 23 is “The Day the DREAM STARTED”. Celebrating the 15th anniversary of her showbiz career, Kim looks back on how it all began for her and how her faith was the foundation of the life she has today.
15 years ago, Kim was just a teenager who had two “impossible” dreams that she would pray for. She shared on her Instagram account that she was a devotee of the Sto. Niño and often included in her prayers her dream of being seen on television and helping her parents financially. But she asked for these two things at the last parts of her prayer since she felt that these were the most unlikely ones to happen.
Answered prayers!
On April 23, 2006, she was one of the contestants who entered the Big Brother house of the reality series Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition. Kim quickly became one of the popular characters and later on wins the show. From there, her showbiz career sky rocketed with her name becoming a powerhouse in the entertainment industry. With TV shows, movies, and brand endorsements, these fifteen years have been one big answered prayer as the beloved actress shares on her post “I cannot believe that I am now living the dream, living the prayer that I once thought was impossible.

Kim Chiu also thanked her fans and bosses in her post. She cited how happy she is in her life now and how she couldn’t have achieve these without those who supported her all the way. “Ups and Downs nandyan kayo para sakin. SALAMAT!”
For us fans of Kim Chiu, we have seen a girl who have blossomed into a talented fine woman. But perhaps her best asset is her gratefulness and her belief in the power of prayer and living those answered prayers with a purpose.
